As part of its environmental conservation initiative, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has launched a large-scale tree plantation campaign across various parts of the city. Thousands of saplings are being planted in parks, gardens, roadsides, and public spaces.
Officials said the initiative aims to improve air quality, increase green cover, and promote environmental awareness among citizens. Schools, colleges, NGOs, and local residents have actively participated in the plantation drive.
